My first real job was a story producer in Reality Television!
I created engaging and relatable content for major networks such as HGTV and Discovery.
Then I became a media manager.
I managed media ingest, metadata, backups, archives, and digital asset management.
I also erformed quality assurance on production assets to ensure technical accuracy.
In 2020, I was promoted to Creative Operations Manager.
I managed creative operations, production timelines, and cross-functional project delivery.
I was also responsible for integrating AI tools, including ChatGPT and Midjourney to accelerate creative review and concept development.
During the pandemic, I also started my journey into UX research and design.
I designed two company websites and conducted research for a mobile parking app for a popular beach town in North Carolina.
One of the things I loved most about UX design was how it brought together my background in anthropology and my passion for solving real-world problems. By studying human behavior, cultural differences, and diverse perspectives, I learned to design experiences that are intuitive, inclusive, and centered around the needs of all users—not just the average user.
With user experience design now a part of my skill set, I joined a luxury plastic surgery corporation as an Experience Specialist, where I apply UX principles to improve every stage of the patient journey.
